Zero Dark doesn't collect your data. There's no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

Zero Dark is made by Labii Reatum Ltd. This policy covers the Zero Dark app for iPhone and this website. If anything here is unclear, email info@labiireatum.co.uk.

What stays on your iPhone

To work, the app keeps the following in its private storage on your device:

• Your goal, why it matters to you, your first move, your first name if you give one, and the milestones and progress on your map.
• Your alarms and their settings, your orders, and your wake-up history: completed missions, snoozes, missed alarms, points and rank.
• Your accountability partner's name, their mobile number if you add it, and the words they gave you for hard mornings.
• The code you register for the Scan mission.

None of this is sent to Labii Reatum Ltd or anyone else. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, the app's data is included in that backup, which Apple's privacy policy covers.

Permissions

• Alarms. Zero Dark uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule your alarms, so they ring like the Clock app's, even in Silent mode or a Focus.
• Camera. Used only while you register or scan the code for the Scan mission. Nothing is photographed, recorded or stored.
• Motion & Fitness. Used only to count your steps during the Steps mission. Readings are used on the spot and not kept.
• Contacts. Zero Dark never asks for access to your contacts. If you choose your partner from Contacts, iOS shows its own picker and passes the app only the name and number you pick.

Zero Dark doesn't use your microphone or your location. The coach's voice is built into the app.

Your accountability partner

Zero Dark drafts messages to your partner: morning reports, missed-alarm messages, weekly reports and requests for a push. You send them yourself, from Messages or another app you choose. Nothing is ever sent automatically. Once you send a message, it's handled by that app like any other message you send. Your partner doesn't need Zero Dark, and the app never contacts them.

Sharing

If you share a result, the iOS share sheet sends it only where you choose.

Zero Dark Pro

Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and links the subscription to your Apple Account. Labii Reatum Ltd never receives your payment details. The app asks Apple whether your subscription is active, and nothing more.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers or third-party scripts. Its fonts are served from this site. It is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. You can delete everything at any time: in the app, go to Settings and tap Erase all data, or delete the app.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't keep them longer than we need to. You can ask us about that correspondence at any time, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
